Reflection
I've learned that there are many things that are taken for granted but are really important to make any publication doing well. Kress and Van Leeuwen (2001) states that semiotics still play a role in today's world of globalization where the difficulties and the ever dwindling lines that identifies a culture slowly fades into a westernize culture. When it comes to document design, everything from the placement to the content of the document is taken into thought and is critical in hitting the correct target audience. In today's healthy and growing world, one medium is never enough and this is also includes documents. When it comes to publication, every medium must come into play for more support the ideal and further gratify the needs of target audience.
Why Citizen Journalism turn to Citizen Paparazzi?

Citizen journalism is used to express a form of media that consent to the public to become journalist by reporting online (Tryemayne 2007, p. 240) while citizen paparazzi is not really a new concept, it is just taking picture using the cameraphones and videophones (Glaser 2005). The very famous incident that cause the citizen journalism to transform themselves intocitizen paparazzi was the London bombing. When the victims of the London bombing was in pain and suffering, digital cameras and videophone can be seen all over the place (Glaser 2005). Instead of helping the victims. The reason they take this pictures is to post it in their blogs, wikipedia and others. So that the picture will get good progress in their blog's credibility due to the fact that there is visual proof, according to Nielsen and Morkes (1997) the internet users mostly judge the web's credibility by looking at the quality of the web's content. In the book, the 'Text Shift: Examining the reading process print, visual, and multimodal texts', Walsh (2006) describe that "written part is only one part of the message, and no longer the dominant part" therefore they are determined to get the best pictures and why they are turning into the citizen paparazzi. If citizen journalist includes pictures in their document, it will make the reader's life easier according to Schriver, it is faster to search for a specific information by looking at the graphics instead of the prose.

YouTube

YouTube videos have created numerous possibilities for anyone; you can upload video files and share it with anyone all around the world. It has already been reported by CNN that YouTube has reached to a massive 79 million of users and over 3 billion of videos been watched on YouTube.
Though this YouTube is the next big thing in the world but that does not mean that everyone is fine with their contribution to the world. Viacom, a media corporation has identified 190,000 unauthorized clips that are being played on YouTube. Source: AP 2008
Viacom disagreed and claimed YouTube allowed unauthorized copies of popular television programming and movies to be posted on its website and viewed tens of thousands of times. Such as MTV Unplugged, 27 Dresses P. S. I love you and others YouTube have open doors to many people all around the world. And people should be extra caution on what they post.
Blogging!!!

Blog is used to communicate or just simply voicing out oneself. Creating a blog seems just so simple and easy. It is now fast to post anything, anytime, anywhere without the need to gain any consent of any reader; about the subject talked about, In Malaysia, if one’s reputation is affected by any kind of slanderous or libelous remarks by these unsatisfied bloggers for some reason or the other, only when the ‘offending act’ is witnessed by any third party can the offender be sued under the defamatory act.
Bloggers need to aware of the consequences that they may face in the future and be well-equipped to know that they are always accountable for whatever they say and post in their ‘supposedly’ personal blogs. Just recently, there was a case of well-known open-mindedly outspoken bloggers, Ahiruddin Attan who was sued by the New Strait Times Press that we claimed to be libelous. This can mean that many of us are not aware of the costs of being too blatantly honest and tend to assume that blogging is a place where is freedom of speech is recognized, when in actual fact this is only partially true.

Do Website has Law?

source: AP 2008
A lot of people might believe that one can get away with posting anything on the internet but this is not true. Under the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission Act (1998), it is acknowledged that it is illegal to post anything that would be against the government or anything that endorse any issues that goes against the governments trust. This means that anyone that breaks this ruling will be head in disdain of the government and will be trialed in court. This is a strict and serious matter, where anything can be posted in the World Wide Web. Gate keepers are the people that scan throughout the web, looking for anything that could spell revolt against the country and from there action will be taken. Even simple pictures that are post could corrupt the reputation of an organization. From the New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2004/11/16/business/16pose.html), an Ellen Simonetti was fired from Delta Airlines for posting pictures of herself in company uniform posing in a inappropriate manner. After Ellen Simonetti was fired from her job, she went on to sue Delta Airlines for sexual discrimination and this further lead to a strong and painful lawsuit. There is always someone watching, the internet may be big but certainly not big enough.
Face Book

Today the latest trend is facebook, a program that allows users to meet other people online. More than 70 million people visit the site regularly. This makes this a new phenomenon, one where it can be further exploited to convey messages. It has become so popular that even politicians and major companies have associated themselves with it. Facebook, being an additional medium that tear downs the wall of communication, it’s also a medium to be in touch among peers. It has turn out to be so popular in this country that it’s become more of an everyday life or some would say a social activity. Being able to use third party software is its main magnetism of this software. Everything from games and interesting blogs are included in this social networking program. People have been turning to facebook to either look for a job or find people that are able of fitting the suitable preference. This has become a medium that is so influential and has so many people that are using it; this is essentially a gold source: Ap 2008 mine for everyone that can benefit from it.
World Wide Web have Ethics?
There are different types of hate site that exist in the internet example hate sites dedicated towards Jorge W. Bush and Saddam Hussein and there are other hates sites that contain religious discrimination. The internet, which we use a tool of communication and knowledge has often being abuse and has become a vehicle of the worst human impulses, as reflected in the websites devoted to fomenting hatred and violence against a particular religion or ethnic groups by Jeffery Long (Unruh 2007), . BBC news (2004) has also stated that net is being used by racist and extremist groups trying to recruit new members and spread their message. Hindu American Community had filed a report against Christian hate site which force its ministry at teaching Christians. This is ethically wrong because everyone has the right to choose their own beliefs
